DAY 1: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU NATIONAL  RESERVE

We will pick you up early in the morning at Nairobi for a trip by road to the beautiful Samburu National Reserve, a highly protected wildlife destination. It is situated on the perimeters of the Ewaso Ng’iro River, home to crocodiles and hippos. You will arrive in the mid-morning for tents set up and picnic lunch before starting a game drive. Wildlife that are seen at Samburu National Reserve include lions, cheetahs, elephants, Beisa Oryx’s, reticulated giraffes, Gerenuk gazelle, and lesser kudu. At the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River, you will find some birds such as White-headed mousebird, Dusky, and Donaldson smith night jars, De armguards barbet, Somali bee-eater, and Golden pipit.

Enjoy dinner, campfire and overnight stay at the camp.

DAY 2:SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE TO NAIROBI

You will have an early breakfast at the camp before a morning game drive at Reteti Elephant Sanctuary, an orphanage for infant elephants. Watch the elephants up close, explore, and learn about their conservation methods. Drive back to Nairobi.
